Dear Fellow Golfers
We are asking you to take a a brief three question survey in regards to the Old Captial Invitational. There has been an idea thrown around to change the invitational to Friday–Saturday tournament vs. Saturday–Sunday tournament. When this idea was proposed, some of us had the same immediate reaction of……. why in the world would you want to change such a great tournament? You may be thinking the same thing right now. The sponsor and tournament committee is looking at it this in a different way.
The thought behind this is to make Saturday a big day for all that would have the tournament end with a Champion’s Dinner and dance. There would be be no rushing around on Sunday to make your tee time or to catch a flight or drive home for our out of town guest. What better way to spend a Saturday night than having fun with the participants, friends, and family once the tournament has concluded. Sunday would simply be a day to be spent with family, not rushing to drive or fly back home for our out of town guest, or however you would like to end your weekend.
